AA STRUCTURE
A unique methodology tailored by our noble teachers
Our noble Sheikhs have collaboratively designed and tailored a unique methodology developed from years of extensive study and experience, presenting to students a simplified comprehensive curriculum that fully equips and enables them to learn, understand, practice and master the rules of Tajweed.
AA Tajweed Curriculum:
Consists of 4 levels:
Level 1: Beginners (3 months)
Level 2: Intermediate (6 months)
Level 3: Advanced (1 year)
Level 4: Ijazah (Unlimited)
Each level has been intricately and accurately designed to enable students to excel in their learning and progress through the levels at a comfortable pace.
Assessment:
Students will undergo an essential 10 minute assessment in order for an accurate evaluation to be made on their level.
AA Study Resources:
Students will be provided with the appropriate AA study resources based on their level *(in pdf format)*.
Students who have no prior knowledge or understanding of Arabic, will be provided with a “Qai'dah“*(specifically structured by AA Academy) They will study this with their teacher in a time frame of 6 months to give them a solid foundation and enable them to begin Level 1 of “AA Tajweed curriculum”
Lesson structure:
This will vary depending on the level of each individual student.
In general lessons will follow the AA syllabus at the level that is appropriate for the student in an interactive discussion based session, with implementation of the Tajweed rules covered during each lesson.
Group classes:
The structure of group classes will also differ according to each group’s level.
Teachers will follow the AA syllabus level that is appropriate for the group and begin with an explanation of the rules of tajweed where students will then apply these rules practically during the lesson.
Benefits of group sessions for beginners and intermediate level:
1- Students are more motivated when comparing their progress to other students.
2- The group session Creates healthy competition between students
3- Students are always engaged
4- Students learn from each other’s mistakes.
5- Students Form good relationships with the Quran community.
6- They overcome the fear barrier when they recite in front of each other.
7- The lessons are longer therefore they have enough time to practice the Tajweed rules.
